This reliable coating provides exceptional resistance to abrasions and chips on rocker panels, along with perfectly matching the OEM texture you must replace after completing a repair to an automobile following a collision. In most cases, it provides a paintable surface in as little as 30 minutes, cutting down the time it takes to complete a collision repair.

The texture on this coating is smooth to medium, and it is designed to be applied across a two-part epoxy primer. (Please note that it may not work well with one-part primers or two-part urethanes in some situations.) When applying paint after 24 hours of using the 3M No Cleanup Rocker Gard Coating, be sure to lightly scuff before painting. This product is best used when applied using an 08801 applicator gun.

This product should not be applied directly on to acid-based self-etch primer. Additionally, the solvents contained within the coating may react with certain types of chip coatings.

The 3M No Cleanup Rocker Gard Coating also has an innovative dispenser that completely eliminates the need to clean up the spray gun. It is best used when providing resistance to chips and abrasions on lower-body panels of automobiles.
